Emanuel Ringers

The Emanuel Ringers is part of the music ministry from Emanuel Lutheran Church in Pleasantville, New York. This handbell group is comprised of ringers ranging from 8 and up. We ring on 5 octaves of Schulmerich handbells and 7 octaves of Malmark handchimes. We welcome all who want to learn how to ring, you do not have to be a member of the church to participate. June 28, 2017
We arrived safely at Onondaga Community College. Those who left from church ended up at a local place in Binghamton (Carolyn, Chloe's mom's hometown) called Sharkey's. We enjoyed meat sandwiches called Spiedies, (pork and chicken).

After lunch we arrived at the college and met up with the rest of our group. Dropped off our stuff in our dorms, and went straight the gym to set up for rehearsal.

We are one of 6 choirs attending. Nick Hanson is our director.

So by the end of the evening, the ringers attended rehearsals, solo concert, had dinner, and attended 2 workshops. Workshops were Getting crafty, making tie dye gloves and picture frames. The ringers and chaperones also made cards that will be handed out to recipients of Meals on Wheels in the Syracuse area. The group split up for the next set of classes, either to Technique games, reinforcing of bell techniques, or cup game and speed stacking.

Day 2 Young Ringers Festival -

Maori Sticks Workshop, rehearsals, Lunch(yes they were fed), ball time, concert by the Walsh Memorial Bell Choir, more rehearsals, snacks, more workshops, ice cream time and the cup stacking and cup game competition.
